Who KITT is
KITT CONNECT is a ferry operator serving the Andaman coast of Thailand. We move passengers, vehicles, and — where approved — commercial cargo between the mainland piers at Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi and the islands of Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai. The network is small, focused and locally staffed.
Purpose and origin
The Andaman coast is a region where road and sea travel are woven together. Islands that appear close on the map can be a long detour by road, while a short crossing turns them into an easy day trip. KITT CONNECT exists to make that crossing predictable, safe and welcoming — for the local resident going to work, the family on holiday, and the business moving supplies between islands.
Connection to Andaman communities
Piers do not exist in isolation. They sit inside villages, next to fishing docks, near school runs and market stalls. We work with the communities that host our piers to keep operations respectful of the local pace, including quieter loading practices in early-morning windows and shared communication when disruptions occur.
Mission and vision
Our mission is to keep the Andaman connected through practical ferry services that any traveller can understand and any partner can rely on. Our vision is a region where crossing the water is as ordinary as taking a bus — safe, on time, and available when people need it.
Safety and operational responsibility
Every sailing runs within the safety framework required for commercial passenger vessels in Thailand. Life jackets are provided for every passenger, a safety briefing is delivered before each departure, and our crew are trained to respond to a range of onboard scenarios. When weather requires it, we change the schedule and communicate directly with booked passengers. Safety is not something we advertise; it is the reason the service exists at all.
Team and local expertise
The captains, deck crew, pier staff and reservations team who make each sailing happen live and work along the Andaman coast. Local knowledge — of tides, of small weather windows, of which pier is easier at high water — is a large part of what makes the service reliable.
Our commitment to travellers
We keep our promises small on purpose. We commit to publishing sailings we intend to run, to communicating changes as early as we know them, and to treating every passenger — foot, family, driver or business — with the same care. When we fall short, we prefer to say so and fix it than to talk around it.
